About Us

The outdoors have always been an important part of my life. Growing up I spent all my time in the woods and every time I saw a mountain I wanted to climb it.

After pursuing further education in the west in natural resources and then moving to Alaska for 5 years I returned to Vermont to raise a family. I learned about herbs and their medicinal benefits by taking an herbal course in the 1980's and by using this knowledge in my landscaping business. I have always enjoyed using the gifts that the earth has given us and as a gardener, hunter, mother and cook I love to apply the use of nature's harvest in my day to day life.  We wild craft a lot of our herbs that we use for our herbal health products and enjoy teaching others about the use of their weeds in adding flavor and health benefits to their diet.

My youngest daughter, Gabrielle, recently completed a year-long intensive herbalism program at the California School of Herbal Studies, and is now practicing with me.
